Vexor Decontamination  Towelettes

The enclosed Vexor Decontamination Towelette, with its unique fiber material, is designed to break down and remove Oleoresin Capsicum (OC).  Use Vexor Decontamination towelettes after exposure to pepper spray and to clean objects that have been exposed to pepper spray.

Pepper spray Denomination is a multi-step process. Excess pepper spray must be removed and the exposed area must be thoroughly cleansed. Rinse face with clean water or Vexor Decontaminant cleansing spray. You should allow sufficient time for inflammation of mucous membranes to naturally subside.  While decontamination products my temporarily relieve the inflammatory effects of pepper spray (swelling and painful irritation),  there are currently no proven anti-inflammatory products available to counteract OC that has been absorbed into the skin.  Only time can, which eliminates painful irritation.  Beware of products that claim they can perform both steps in one.

Warning: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. If irritation develops, discontinue use.  Do not use in eyes, mouth, nostrils or genital area.  FLAMMABLE. Do not use near open flame or while smoking.  Keep away from children. Do not use if package has been cut or opened.  DO NOT STORE ABOVE 120F (50C).

IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL EXPOSURE: Flush eyes and affected eyes with water.

Directions: If available, rinse affected areas with clean, cool water. If your hands have been contaminated with pepper spray, wipe them clean before you proceed.  Tear open packet. Unfold Vexor Decontamination Towelette. With eyes closed, begin by gently cleaning the facial area.  DO NOT RUB GENTLY WIPE AWAY FROM THE EYES.  Be sure to include all facial hair.  Discard contaminated towelette. You may have to use several towelettes to ensure thorough cleansing. You may experience an amplified burning sensation that may last a few minutes.  This sensation may be attributed to the towelette breaking down residual OC chemicals. Use a new Vexor Decontamination Towelette to cleanse the hair, neck and other exposed areas.  Using a new Vexor Decontamination Towelette, once again gently clean around the eyes.  Eyes should remain tightly closed. Use a gentle wiping motion away from the eyes and ensure no residual liquid is pressed or forced into them. As soon as possible, rinse contaminated areas with cool water.  Pepper spray symptoms should subside in 45 minutes.  If symptoms don’t begin to subside within 90 minutes, seek medical attention
